We are here to care for you and your friend

Here at HomeCare Veterinary Clinic, we always welcome new clients and patients to our cozy converted home at the edge of Rocky Hill, near the intersection of 518 and 206.

We will do our best to make your visit streamlined and as stress free as possible. We are a fear free practice and so will recommend waiting outside in your car or in our garden until we are ready for you to come right into the room, and we will provide treats and calming phermones for your pet. If your pet is anxious about veterinary care please tell us so we can provide calming previsit medication.

We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

HomeCare Welcomes You!

As a new client of our veterinary clinic in New Jersey, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.
1

Arrival

Call on arrival to our clinic or step inside to let us know you are here. We ask you to wait in your car or walk around our gardens with your friend rather than waiting inside because your pet will be more relaxed and you will be more comfortable. We will call you or usher you inside when your room is clean and ready.
2

Medical History

We will ask for permission to call for previous records when you make your appointment. On arrival we will either provide you with a detailed questionnaire of pertinent information or a technician will speak with you about these details. You may be provided with information about arthritis screening and our in house Care Plans to spread cost of care over twelve months and receive discounts on care.
3

Physical Exam and Consultation

The veterinarian will greet you and your pet with snacks in hand. Please bring delicious treats from home if there are dietary restrictions. After some additional questions the veterinarian will examine your friend. Any necessary vaccinations can be given or any necessary diagnostic tests will be recommended and performed.
4

Wrap Up

A treatment or care plan will be provided in writing or by careful explanation with a chance to ask questions. Follow up care will be scheduled by the CSR as a Medical Progress exam, Follow up Assessment or treatment, or Technician visit to follow through and provide continuity of care. Our doctors keep very detailed notes for your next visit.
